A few months ago in the charity shop I work in, a customer knocked a porcelain ornament over and broke itβ¦they just looked back at it and walked out, no apology or offer to pay! It was an older woman too, who shouldβve known better π

Told myself not to buy any more books until Iβve read a few of my huge TBR pile (make that bookcase!) but fell off the wagon today when I spotted all 3 of Stephen Kingβs Detective Bill Hodges trilogy in my local British Heart Foundation shop. Β£2 each, had to buy!
Pandemic by A.G. Riddle - one of the best thrillers Iβve ever read! In the last third of the book now so things are really ramping up!
I havenβt posted anything here for months, because what was Twitter still had a hold on me. Now itβs gone too far, Iβve deactivated my account there and Iβm thinking itβs permanent this time (tried and failed before!)
Oops, havenβt posted here for a month! All the Doctor Who specials, especially tonightβs, have been fan-fucking-tastic π
All of classic Doctor Who on BBC iPlayer? This is a fantastic day indeed π
Hopefully will be at the Ayrshire coast one of the days too - weather just needs to behave itself π€π»
My niece is coming through to stay with me next week, she split up with her boyfriend recently so itβll be good for her to have a distraction as sheβs still adjusting. Planning to visit local castle with her, shopping etc. Looking forward to it βΊοΈ
I keep wondering whether to get one as apparently theyβre cheaper than ovens to run but seeing I live on my own would it be worth it? Also I donβt have a clear worktop at the mo π€
Itβs happening all over the globe too and yet there are still people who refuse to accept itβs out of the ordinary π
Flood warning been issued for parts of my town, Iβm safely up a hill though so donβt have to worry! Rain been pretty much non-stop here since yesterday afternoon! I have some water coming through in a front corner of spare bedroom but itβs only a few drops at a time so easily contained.
Red Admiral butterfly and autumn colours during a walk round town on Sunday βΊοΈ
I had mine last week, arm felt heavy same night but apart from that it was ok. Used to get free jag when I was mumβs carer, after that was over I decided to keep getting it despite having to pay for it now. Never had proper flu and Iβd rather it stays that way!
I deactivated and then reactivated again but decided to mostly stop tweeting there. Musk has ruined it. Glad to be on here now! Already feels like early Twitter :)
Storm Agnes didnβt really make much of an impact where I amβ¦mind you, the part of Scotland I live in usually escapes the worst of autumn/winter storms anyway!
I amβ¦so looking forward to it! π
*looks out at weather, which I have to go out in* So glad I have waterproof trousers to go over my jeans!
Good to be here in the wild blue yonder βΊοΈ
