So @djdebgrant.bsky.social Saturday show is going to be replaced with Beth Ditto. Shame. Her show is one of the few good decisions #6Music have made recently. I Don’t understand the obsession with celebrity names when there’s already a perfectly good DJ in situ. Oh well it was good while it lasted!
The world is going to hell....so I've made a video about #1980s UK school packed lunches.
It's wrong to close our eyes to what's happening to the world right now, but maybe a bit of kitsch distraction is ok.
I just like practicing my video editing.

I’d heard nothing about this at all. A really talented writer for both Radio and TV. Obvious highlights being the glory days of both Spitting Image and Red Dwarf. A sad loss. RIP.

I rewatched the ones with Taggart in a few years back, it's great. In the first episode he appears to be a dab hand at Pac-Man, I wish they'd made more of that storyline.

This is such a crying shame. NRS show was one of the most eclectic and unpretentious shows on the radio. They’ll never change their mind though as that would mean admitting they were wrong.
At least these days it doesn’t have the theme from ‘Last of the summer wine’ like some sort of backing track of doom!

Offpoint, but I’d never seen before just how much effort went into that aside. Rik’s costume, the props etc. And it’s on screen for, what about 7 seconds? Amazing!
This single (possibly even just the 7") had samples from the film 'Heat' over the top of it. Even now the album version sounds strangely empty to me.
It seems the Guardian doesn't think that TV drama began with The Sopranos anymore. It apparently now started in 2011...
