It really is fascinating how overt it now is that there are certain - really not controversial - ideas that you aren’t allowed to say on television.
Happened to us recently. Sorry. Starting your prius to the sound of a hot rod engine really sucks. FWIW, we got an aftermarket one put in that has seemingly been working fine.
So when thousands of women (and children) were being duplicated--including in non-consensual AI porn--it was no big deal. But it took "only a 15-sec clip" of these two famous white men to draw outrage and fear. Gotcha. Cool cool.

Is it just me, or has the ask to re-review a paper become near automatic. I don’t remember it being this way 20 years ago. If major revisions are required, sure, send it back. But if the paper was near publishable on first submission, why send it back? Can’t the AE just look at the review responses?
