I mean, both would be fine too.

Chelsea diving all over the place, while winning, against a ten man Championship club.

Honestly, given the choice, I'd rather relegate them than Spurs.

If he'd left it, it might've gone in from Kieffer Moore's header anyway.

Shame for Wrexham.

Mansfield 1-2 Arsenal – player ratings Goals from Noni Madueke and Eberechi Eze, either side of a Mansfield equaliser, were enough to send Arsenal through to the quarter-finals of the FA Cup. Here’s how the players rated … and I know the positions are a bit all over the place, but that’s down to the weird system we started with and […] The post Mansfield 1-2 Arsenal – player ratings appeared first on Arseblog News - the Arsenal news site.

Raya, Saliba (if he was fit anyway), Gabriel, Rice, Zubi, Gyokeres all getting a full match off is good and with us playing so early, plenty of time to prep for Wednesday.

Home tie v the Leeds/Norwich winner in the QF please.

Gotta say, it made for a fun match seeing a side coming at us rather than just sitting in a low block. Mansfield can go home knowing they gave us a scare with their approach and deserve credit.

Absolutely. Very happy to see him arrive on a permanent deal, and then what will be will be. Suspect MLS could be a midfield option in time.

Yeah Martinelli was more out of form, whereas Jesus was out of fucks.

Fair play to Mansfield. They had a great go and showed real quality in moments.

Proper cup tie, that.

Good result, especially with all the rotation, but it wasn't pretty, partly down to the pitch, partly down to the performance.

Trossard and Calafiori injuries are hopefully not too bad - suspect Trossard in particular is ok.

In the QF, which was the aim. But lots for Arteta to consider.

I really don't want to see the match ratings for Jesus and Martinelli today.

Martinelli has had one of those days where nothing he's tried has quite worked.

Jesus though, yikes. The fitness of Gyokeres between now and the end of the season just became more important.

07.03.2026 14:10 πŸ‘ 5 πŸ” 1 πŸ’¬ 1 πŸ“Œ 0

Yeah, really really good. Suspect he may cause MLS to leave, but if we need to be ruthless, that's the way it is.

Bloody love him for it, too.

Really appreciate how Hincapie has refused to consider this game below him in any way and has got stuck in since the moment he came on.

Awful dive from the Mansfield, correctly booked by the ref.

That was lame.

"Magic of the cup".

07.03.2026 13:50 πŸ‘ 1 πŸ” 0 πŸ’¬ 0 πŸ“Œ 0

Oh ref, that's a ridiculous card to give Eze. Minor foul, and not enough dissent. Come on.

Make it make sense...

Would like, and could imagine, Heinze making players do 20 burpees tomorrow for every back heel they've tried in this game.

07.03.2026 13:47 πŸ‘ 1 πŸ” 0 πŸ’¬ 0 πŸ“Œ 0

Originally I assumed dissent, but he didn't seem to be doing that. Weird one.

07.03.2026 13:45 πŸ‘ 0 πŸ” 0 πŸ’¬ 1 πŸ“Œ 0

Same. I was fully anticipating the goal as soon as he brought it under control. You cannot give him that space.

07.03.2026 13:42 πŸ‘ 1 πŸ” 0 πŸ’¬ 0 πŸ“Œ 0

What a hit from Eze!

And it's not even Spurs.

(They do have a couple of ex-Spurs youngsters on their team though, so maybe he took offence to that).

Really nice from Norgaard in the build up too.

07.03.2026 13:40 πŸ‘ 2 πŸ” 0 πŸ’¬ 0 πŸ“Œ 0

Just messed up a 5 on 2 break there.

Not ideal.

Eze and Timber for Havertz and Salmon.

Need to manage Havertz's minutes so makes sense, and looks like Salmon's head dropped a little after his mistake.

07.03.2026 13:35 πŸ‘ 0 πŸ” 0 πŸ’¬ 0 πŸ“Œ 0

What a goal that would've been from Dowman.

He looks on a different level to the rest, which is crazy because at his age that level should be lower, not higher.

07.03.2026 13:28 πŸ‘ 1 πŸ” 0 πŸ’¬ 0 πŸ“Œ 0

"They've scored against the best defence in the land" say the commentators.

Good soundbite, but when the entire team has been rotated, you're stretching that point somewhat...

07.03.2026 13:27 πŸ‘ 6 πŸ” 1 πŸ’¬ 1 πŸ“Œ 0

Very good finish from Evans after a bad giveaway from Salmon. Head up kid.

07.03.2026 13:24 πŸ‘ 0 πŸ” 0 πŸ’¬ 0 πŸ“Œ 0

Fair point. He's a victim of his own very bright start to his Arsenal career.
