How does the brain represent natural images?
Using MEG + multivariate analysis, we disentangle contributions of retinotopy, spatial frequency, shape, and texture
Together, our results reveal how visual features jointly and dynamically support human object recognition.

An artifact-robust framework for measuring tCS effects during stimulation
Objective: Transcranial current stimulation (tCS) is a promising technique to non-invasively modulate human brain activity. However, stimulation artifacts in EEG and MEG recordings severely hinder the...

A novel artifact-robust framework to investigate online effects of transcranial current stimulation (tCS).
Further, we test this approach in an MEG study π§²π§ and find neural interaction between tCS and flickering visual stimulation.

Several plots showing the distribution of neural information about abstract choices and motor actions across the human brain.
Check out our work led by Katrina Quinn, showing that neural representations of abstract choice aren't just due to a requirement to flexibly & rapidly switch between choice-motor mappings. This points to a general role of abstraction in decision-making.
