The hotel has an infinite number of rooms, but they are all full, so they may not be able to accomodate him or his boulder. If you choose to divert him, his boulder will destroy the Ship of Theseus. But the ship has had all of its constituent parts replaced, so it may not actually be the same ship. Is Sisyphus happy?

a question for the ages, really.

I like plenty of jazz on ECM in the 80s but I think the genre, as a whole, really needed hip hop like Us3 and Guru's Jazzmatazz to put it back on the map and to get to the revival we are experiencing now with artists like Kamasi and labels like International Anthem.

While I love his redition of Eleanor Rigby, this album has strong 'meeting that could have been an email' feel.

Sure his guitar technique is phenomenal but it quickly turns into middling 80s fusion.

Jazz really did almost die at some point in the 80s didn't it?

#5DebutAlbums8589 Haven't played this in years and it still sounds really good, despite Reznor's terrible almost-rapping on Down In It; those slap basslines still slap.

Nine Inch Nails – Pretty Hate Machine (TVT, 1989)

I think it sounds pretty similar to other rap albums at the time but Nations defined them, and the production on Fear of a Black Planet blew their rivals away.
