Americans can barely afford to live right now and the government took more money from us and gave it to ICE and this war. Meanwhile I can no longer afford the property taxes on my house and my groceries are twice what they were 5 years ago. This is not what Americans want.

This isn’t news. It isn’t surprising. This is his MO. The second anyone tells him no, suddenly they are a traitor and scum and low IQ.

No, not the worst thing at all, but I don’t think there’s only one Dem candidate who would run on that platform.
I think the current administration is going to force some legislation and possibly a constitutional amendment, no matter who the next president is. To make sure this never happens again.
The current administration is by far the most corrupt, incompetent, and authoritarian I have ever seen. The number of things Trump has done that would have had another president impeached is astounding. We won’t recover with yet another polarizing president. I think we need someone calm and mature.
I don’t think AOC at the top of the ticket wins — Republicans demonized her, and half the country already doesn’t like her. We saw how that worked out for Hillary, and AOC is less qualified for the job. Democracy won’t survive another 4 years of Republican president. Has to be a sure-fire Dem win.
Personally, I would prefer Pete’s brand of calm, rational persuasion and inclusion after too many years of the high-drama new-outrage-every-day that we are all sick of. Return to civility and class, and restore some dignity to the office. AOC is a fine candidate, just not right now. IMO.
Americans do not want to be involved in another damn war in the Middle East. This is extremely unpopular with everyone I know, regardless of party.
Our only hope is the rest of the world not backing down, unlike the spineless toadies and flunkies in Congress and the rest of the government who sold their souls to Trump. Keep the pressure on. He caves every single time, like bullies do. His lies have to be met with worldwide opposition and truth.
But if they do call JB into question over it, they open themselves up to some extremely pointed questions about why JB is flawed if a relative of his is in the files, but Trump is directly in the files himself thousands of times and he gets a free pass?
Do these people not understand that as soon as he leaves office everyone will know exactly what he was trying to hide in those files? The next person in office will release all of them without criminals’ names redacted. People who covered this up will go to prison.
Imagine whining many times about people calling you a dictator but not saying anything when they call you a pedophile except “let’s move on from this.”
He is somewhat careful about what he lies and whines about. Pay attention to what he isn’t whining about. That’s where he knows it could hurt him.
