I wanted NFLX to win this but it would have been criminal for them to top the PSKY bid. In fact, if I were a PSKY shareholder, I'd be pretty upset about this. Sadly though, so many people will lose their jobs at Paramount, Warner Brothers and HBO. Let alone God knows what happens with CNN.

I think Congress has been out of session but they're returning this week. Even Congressmen are affected by this. They don't get a special line and supposedly courtesy and family police escorts are suspended.

I think the Mets could have gone a little further to sign Diaz but it was clear, he wanted to go to the Dodgers. However, I wish the Mets would have offered a bit more. They either would have signed Diaz or forced the Dodgers to pay even more. I don't think giving Alonso 5 years made sense.
