Realistic proportions have that extra thing that activates something in my brain. The only thing that is not as realistic on my characters is the penis, I kept the default Hotdog size to avoid issue with animations. Might be too big for some people.

We don't really NEED innovations, we already have minion mods that are whole buildings, props etc... There are no other games like FF14 with this same level of modding. Let's not play with fire because if mods die it will literally kill the game.

I'm not saying plugin devs are bad people, but you can say now that you believe it is 100% safe, and find out later that you were wrong and that end up killing the fun forever. Mistakes DO happen and I don't think it's worth the risk honestly. Let's just leave things where it is.
