Maybe I just post snippets of the story I write for my OCs idk. Bits and pieces of their story in the world.
I wanna find a way to incorporate Splatoon in my life again, I just want to share in the ocs and having fun with casual stuff, nothing serious. But it’s hard to.

Genuine morality of the scene atm
Oh I’m sure of it, media manipulation is not hard and when every other top level player sits by and does nothing, you’re given the idea it’s somehow okay. Going back to my point that they’re either complicit or in on it.
i do think the focus on helping mid level players is neat and if it’s a genuine focus on building the community then I COULD (MAYBE) believe it.
That being said there’s another established player on a popular team who has orchestrated a lot of hurt behind the scenes and has faced no consequences.
Absolutely not a shocker. Oh well.
Whatever, it’s disheartening but I suppose I’ve been out too long to care that much.
Influential names who don’t talk about this are complicit at best and in on it at worst.
If I could do it all again I think I’d change a few things but I wouldn’t have left the way I did.
Flynn_aster really did die that day and what has become of her is but a shadow of her former self.
Wiser, but not the whimsical person she once was.
And it was for nothing.
Even sadder considering the circumstances of why I left was to potentially let people heal and make the scene better. But it did not have that effect and I only realized later how I was manipulated and gaslit.
I know, like I said I have no stake and I understand my soapbox is not going to change anything.
I’m moreso stating it’s sad a game I once loved has not grown at all since I left.
Also career suicide for a comp scene that has zero monetary incentive (unless you become a content creator) isn’t rlly career suicide unless playing the game means THAT much to you.
It did to me at one time, but that was taken from me. So I guess me saying this means I have nothing to lose.
To be perfectly honest I have zero stakes in this community. I’m commenting from my peanut gallery knowing damn well this won’t change anything.
