I haven't had KFC for close to 30 years. But I can remember in Nelson a vet telling me that the bones were safe to give pets as it was pressure-cooked in oil. I'd get it about once a month or so, and my two young cats would be at the door of the car mewing before I even turned the engine off

I have a friend in precisely this position now. She was made redundant at 60. She's a highly skilled person. She's now on the dole, and feeling like shit as rejection after rejection comes in. Our retirement age can't rise until Kiwis ditch their ageism
Absolutely with you on this. Elements of the left are very good at letting perfection be the enemy of the good. It's not a good habit to get into.
