I bought chicken thighs and the right kind of chicken stock to make chicken and dumplings again tonight but the right way. Lily and I did not like it spicy at all last night. It’s not going to be cold today, but I wanted to redeem myself from last night’s mistake.
I’ve been making my Brown Sugar Shaken Espresso at home lately. But this morning was stressful. My husband said that I needed Starbucks. Sometimes Starbucks hits just right.
Lily and I didn’t like it because it was too spicy. Harry liked it but said it could have been a lot more spicy.
I made chicken and dumplings tonight because I was cold all day today. I must have really been in a hurry at the store because I accidentally grabbed spicy chicken stock instead of the normal chicken stock. I mix half water half chicken stock with my chicken and dumplings.
I needed caffeine. I usually have coffee around now anyway. But since I quit drinking sodas I made coffee.
This is our project today. Taking it down with the help of my sis In law and family at my in-laws house.
I’ve been stuck with my writing since last year. I have been dealing with imposter syndrome a lot lately that it is giving me a lot of doubts. I have been looking for my fourth agent for almost 4 years. Every time I sit down to write it feels forced. I’m trying. I’m not giving up

I really do hope it snows this weekend. We’re expecting 3-5 inches. It’s supposed to be the good fluffy snow that you can play in for once. I’m making spaghetti for dinner tonight and a hearty beef stew in the crockpot tomorrow.
I made a large pot of chili today. I wanted to do beef stew in the crockpot, but I forgot to defrost the beef chunks in the fridge over night. So I’m going to make that tomorrow if we still have power from the storm.

And our outside cat Molly has been missing for three days. She’s the one who always sat with me at the bus stop. Lily does not know of Molly yet. This was my last pictures with Molly. She really became my cat. I’m going to miss her waiting with me.
It’s been a bad week. We lost our cat Pumpkin because she was sick and didn’t make it. We took her to the vet in November and that didn’t really help. Her brother that our friends had in a city near us died the same way she did.
Ok now I’m upset MASH left Hulu. I watch it daily and do dishes and cook to it. It WAS on Disney but now it’s not.

Lily’s had a headache all day and not really eaten much since lunch at 1. I wanted to check her temp before she fell asleep because she almost put herself to bed. 102.2. I think she caught the flu. She just threw up. Definitely has the flu.
First our oven died. Now my keurig. I’ve been eying one on Amazon but it’s expensive right now. I am sure this isn’t supposed to happen. I unplugged it.
It was cold today outside when I ran errands. I’m making this for dinner. I’ve been craving this soup. This is one of my favorite soups to make in winter when it’s really cold. The kids want grilled cheese and tomato soup.

The wind is howling today. At least it’s warm and not cold.
It’s currently sunny and 75 in South Carolina. Fall weather. This is why Christmas didn’t feel like Christmas to me. It was 74 on Christmas. I know I’ll miss it when it gets cold again in January and next week.
I still think this whenever I watch MASH. I have a love/hate feeling with the ending episode.
