Trump’s ever-changing rationale for war on Iran – how the story has shifted
Regime change, nuclear threat – or something else? US officials seem unable to land on one coherent reason for war
🚨The Trump admin still hasn’t been able to land on one coherent answer.
Some contradict each other, some contradict Trump himself.
Some – delivered hours apart – are flatly incompatible

Baturday! 🦇
Fledermaus Station Österreich
"Bat pups are so small, we use Q-tips to gently clean their faces, wings, and tiny toes — especially after feeding or when they come in dehydrated or sticky.
It’s delicate work… but everyone seems to love it!
Just look at her face!"

This would be a crime against humanity, but otherwise I agree.

Worth watching the whole clip, but purely in propaganda terms it seems to me, admittedly just an amateur observer when it comes to war fighting, that it may be useful to send the message to the 91+ million Iranian civilians that we are not trying to kill them.

DHS nominee Markwayne Mullin is one of the most active stock-traders in the Senate — and violated the STOCK Act against insider trading as recently as last August.
He currently holds stock in L3Harris, which has millions in contracts with ICE and FEMA.
The grift continues.

“A country that can instantly fund endless wars but debates every dime for healthcare and education doesn't have a budget issue--it has a values issue."
A billion dollars a day going towards the war in Iran so far.

US Senator Chris Van on Iran:
"Netanyahu said two days ago that he had been waiting for 40 years... to get to this point... It took him 40 years to find an American president stupid enough to drag America into this war."

"rules of engagement. No more..." He means the US military will act with unrestrained brutality and savagery to feed his tiny, overworked sense of his own manhood. The US is the most unstable, immature, irresponsible, evil nation on the planet. Hesgeth fails to grasp the fate awaiting him.

Don't let the door hit you on the way out.
Just because you got fired, Minnesotans won’t forget what you did to our neighbors. We will continue to fight for you to be held accountable.

Markwayne Mullin, who only a couple of days ago, thought Iraq was Iran – and called a particular former Fox News anchor, "President Hegseth" (multiple times), has been named as Kristi Noem's replacement as the new Secretary of Homeland Security.
Happy Thursday, America.

Be still my beating heart. Get her straight to Alligator Auschwitz unless there's a worse place. Of course her replacement will be worse. Miller, Thiel, et al, seem to have locked on to the worst human filth for every position, and there has proven to be an endless supply of such scum.

McGinnis was not looking for a confrontation involving physical violence. It was Sheehy's job to NOT respond with physical violence. Sheehy will skate for now in the anarchy that is today's America, but add him and his action here to the long list of those to be prosecuted when we take them down.

Mayor Mamdani holds a box of donuts open for five DSNY employees.
DSNY has been pulling 12-hour shifts since winter storm Fern. I stopped by during shift change today to say thank you.
They deserve more than just donuts, so please: Next time you see a DSNY worker, say thank you. They’ve kept this city moving through the worst of it.

The cotton is in his head. Another human zero somehow elected to office whose sole "contribution" to the electorate is to grandstand and seek attention on right wing TV. He has nothing to offer, no skills, no ideas, nothing but air.

Just a random reminder that over 50 members of Congress collectively own millions of dollars in defense contractor stocks.
They stand to personally profit from wars that enrich these contractors.
Make no mistake, this is legalized corruption.
Watch how they vote this week.
