When co-presidents Trump and Musk stick a dagger into the heart of NATO and Republican politicians say nothing, it's obvious that the Republican Party stands for nothing except money and power for its insiders.
The GOP is a criminal gang, not a political party.

There is no such fucking thing as being “too woman” to pilot a helicopter, “too gay” to land a plane or “too black” to be an air traffic controller.

There is however, such a thing as being too hateful, too stupid & too sociopathic to be president.

And we call that Donald Trump.

Here are the options on the table (which are not mutually exclusive):

1. House Dems bring articles of impeachment*

2. Senate Dems play constitutional hardball and obstruct everything

3. State AGs litigate (and prosecute) everything they can

4. Citizens march en mass

The Framers foresaw this problem and figured legislators' ambition, self-preservation, and self-respect would drive them to act against a tyrant.

The Framers didn't expect a majority of Congress would be cowards and fools who cheered it like pigs celebrating the arrival of the butcher.

I just want to say for the record that when the history books are written centuries from now, I believe the election of Donald Trump in a free and fair election in 2024 will go down as one of the most senseless and self-destructive own goals in human history

i think it is important to say that the open and explicit racism of the president and the vice president isn’t just uncouth or “controversial” but a direct attack on tens of millions of americans and a dereliction of their duty to represent the entire country

Is Merrick Garland hosting some sort of retreat for Democratic Party leaders, with sessions on the joys of adhering to norms? If not, what are Democrats doing while Trump burns down our democracy?
