Thanks for this paper, I will read it.
Nature in border and military areas can profit of the relative absence of human activities and ditto presence. But for larger herbivores especially, I can imagine the obstacles.
But do you see an effect on wildlife itself?

A new species of the Diptera family Sciomyzidae (marsh flies, or snail-killing flies) is described from Mongolia. A male specimen of Pherbellia debreei Mortelmans, 2025 was collected during an expedition in 2019.
