Gyokeres played how I thought he would. He doesn’t create opportunities. He was never good at heading the ball.
Skipping training whilst being unprofessional is showing too. He should have turned up - he might have played better.

Varandas is doing an amazing job. This soap opera isn’t forcing him into doing anything.
He has a contract. Like any other employee, he needs to honour it and act like a professional.

Sporting don’t need to sell. Other clubs want/need to buy.
Benfica, and their fans, need to be saints next season. They are taking all of this far too far. Especially given their track record and how their fans behave.
What happens in the Portuguese league stands a chance of spreading to others in Europe. It’s a dangerous precedent to be setting.

I learned with reverse readings but it made less sense to me as time went on. So now I flip flop a bit more. I think not reading them reversed makes more sense so I was curious about what others did.

Why did VAR get involved? So many situations have happened where a yellow was missed that disadvantaged Sporting. And nothing. Not to mention penalties not awarded. First chance they have to screw over Sporting and they take it. It’s shameful.
