GOG is the worst store I used.
#Cyberpunk2077 released on Mac two weeks ago and I can't play it since offline installer is broken and GOG Galaxy is an x86 app that crashes on startup on Arm.
I contacted support - they were not helpful and denied my refund for a broken product.
I can't get used to this whole social media thing. Bluesky and others require you to post practically all the time to be seen at all. I find that pretty scummy.
Sometimes I think I should really start making drawings, but I really don't know where to start.
Making characters was infuriating for me mainly because I would try working on them on the train to and from school or work.
I really don't think thats healthy, but if I haven't been doing that I wouldn't know if I'd finish even one model
On one hand, I want to keep the secret on what I'm making at the moment, but on the other, I want to post more and show off what I'm making.
Making Suika and Yuugi in tandem seemed like a good idea and in some sense it was: they share some body parts, they are relatively same style and when I got bored of one I'd switch to other.
The problem with that is that you won't have a finished result for two times longer than making one model.
I'm taking a break from character design for now.
This was a big self discovery journey, but I had enough emotional suffering making those.
I'm fond of the results, but the process and the feedback I got was not pleasing.
I might come back to it or do something else of 3D, but I need to rest.
That usually comes from people who have never picked up a pencil
Happy Pride month!
Timeline where Kojima posts Death Stranding 2 branded pants store page is my favorite timeline
Why do courses in college, especially creative ones, expect you to do the projects outside of class? This was true in high school for homework too, but I had less duties back then and it wasn't obligatory.
I work in my off time now to keep coming to my college.
Do they train for overwork culture?
*not 75, 131 chains actually
Ibuki Suika from Touhou
Her chains (75 in total) made total vertices skyrocket to 9k, so it's technically not low poly anymore. If I had other intentions other than posting I would've dealt with the chains more stricltly.

Hosiguma Yuugi from Touhou project.

At least Touhou games run just fine under VM

Yes, I know: early next week has ended. I have stumbled into some issues I've never dealt with before, so it's a learning experience for me.
I promise you will see the work in some form this week!
My new project, in fact two of them, took too long to make, but I'm happy with how it's turning out and I'm hoping to finish it early next week!!
Bluesky (social media in general really) hates people who don't post much, so I'll try to spice up the page in between project posts.
Love you all π
What if I buy used CD's of an artist and support them in other way like merch and concert tickets? I'm a broke university student and if I had a mentality of getting everything new, I don't think I would've gotten into their music.
I buy new releases new, but usually I'll look for old ones used.
It's definitely a very dumb and irresponsible purchase, but I'm just daydreaming of having a M2 Ultra Mac Pro (the one thats a tower). I have no specific use for it, It's absurdly big and Apple sells the same spec computer for way cheaper, but I can't look at it and not think how fascinating it is.

My next project might take even longer to complete, ironically.
Not only that I'm trying out something new, but also I'm working on two models now!
While making Youmu I felt dreadful finishing it. If I let myself work on two projects in tandem I would get tired less from working on the same model.
its a slight hint of artificial lemon, but nobody drinks those for flavor.

Apple Cinema Display CRT sitting atop of a fridge. Hooked up to it is an Apple TV 1st generation. There is a music library displayed on the screen
Fellas will see this and say "hell yeah"
It is absolutely hillarious.
I also get a kick from the singer saying "shiny discoball" in Nitro
