I think the amount of anti Muslim hate in the country right now is way higher than after 9-11. The way that folks are openly calling to “round up Muslims” is so unmooring. I wouldn’t be shocked if there was a genuine attempt to denaturalize or intern us. Already Somali targeting is basically that.
