A weekend of beauty, reflection, and being in community with some amazing humans (and trees) in the woods talking about ecology, art, connection, and so many other important topics was such a balm in this time of upheaval.

It is such an honor to have work in issue two of Untelling, the Literary & Arts Magazine of Hindman Settlement School. This essay is the first time I have openly shared about my vision issues, and it’s both healing and scary. It helps knowing it found such a lovely and safe home. So much gratitude 💚
