Doing what we can, solar, battery, EV and ASHP, cycle mostly ! Insulated bits of a 1930’s solid wall bungalow and it’s lovely.πŸ’š

My elderly in laws in London had a visit from two apparently canvassing for reform, they were fed rubbish that there are no go areas in places like Bradford and they are under sharia law. We put them right but just so you know the messaging that is being put out there. πŸ’š

Great work but there are other by elections where a similar effect is taking place, as long as NF is not in then that must be a positive for the local community πŸ‘

Zack’s response to Shabana Mahmood.
My friend sent this to me an hour ago. She said
β€œThis is why I will vote for the Greens. They have a moral compass of hope.”

I wholeheartedly agree.
Life’s difficult enough without a politician in the government advocating cruelty and marginalisation

Crypto investor based in Thailand donates further Β£3m to Reform Christopher Harborne’s gift is latest to party’s election war chest and comes amid calls for cap on political donations

Absolutely outrageous. Political parties should be answerable first and foremost to the public - not to the agenda of uber-wealthy donors. We urgently need a cap on political donations and a ban on crypto donations.

NHS official pushed to add patient data to Palantir platform whilst also advising company

A lobbyist who worked directly for Peter Mandelson, on the Palantir board, and on the board of *four* NHS trusts.

Lobbying the NHS to hand over even more patient data to Palantir.

This absolutely stinks. Get Palantir out of the NHS. Sign my petition:

Reform fury as someone else wins
by Our By-election Editor
Tim Shipsink
The losing candidate in the Gorton and Denton by-election, Matt Goodwhinge, has demanded an immediate re-run of the election on the grounds that he lost
comprehensively to someone else.
"It's totally unfair and rigged,"
said Goodwhinge.
"I shouldn't
be required to sit there and suck it up, just because I lost."
Mr Goodwhine continued, *I can't believe that all those voters I demonised failed to back me.
Especially after I was endorsed by Tommy Robinson and ten million Russian bots on X.
"We have clear evidence of family voting, where people voted in order for me to stop deporting their families."
Mr Badloser concluded. "I'm the victim of colour prejudice.
They didn't vote for me simply because I'm not green."
Reform leader
Mr Farage,
speaking from a sun lounger on a rock near the Chagos Islands said,
"It's a tragedy that the people of Manchester won't see Matt in Westminster, but my constituents don't see me in Clacton either."

PLUMBER DEFEATS

Beautiful from Private Eye on the massive toddler-tantrum that Matt Goodwin and Reform are having, because they got whooped in Gorton and Denton.

I'm delighted with my heat pump – but there are still too many barriers to get one installed The government is right to put heat pumps at the centre of its Warm Homes Plan. But affordability and convenience are key – as I learnt first-hand.

We invested some of our pension in a small solar array, home battery, changed our car to an EV for the same cost as our polo and heat pump. It is cheaper than gas heating, even with the car using cheap rate tariffs through Octopus energy. Our solid wall 1930s house has never been so comfortable.

Rachel Reeves and her chanting Labour backbenchers acknowledged Brexit was wrong during today's #SpringForecast.

Glad to see the govt finally recognising what Greens have said all along: Britain is stronger as part of the EU. It's time to kickstart talks to re-join.

Turns out lowering bills, protecting the NHS and rebuilding our public services is really popular.

This is just the beginning - people are seeing through the attacks and demanding something better.

And we're making hope normal again - together.
