My elderly in laws in London had a visit from two apparently canvassing for reform, they were fed rubbish that there are no go areas in places like Bradford and they are under sharia law. We put them right but just so you know the messaging that is being put out there. π
Great work but there are other by elections where a similar effect is taking place, as long as NF is not in then that must be a positive for the local community π
We've just hit 215,000 members.

Zackβs response to Shabana Mahmood.
My friend sent this to me an hour ago. She said
βThis is why I will vote for the Greens. They have a moral compass of hope.β
I wholeheartedly agree.
Lifeβs difficult enough without a politician in the government advocating cruelty and marginalisation
Absolutely outrageous. Political parties should be answerable first and foremost to the public - not to the agenda of uber-wealthy donors. We urgently need a cap on political donations and a ban on crypto donations.

NHS official pushed to add patient data to Palantir platform whilst also advising company
A lobbyist who worked directly for Peter Mandelson, on the Palantir board, and on the board of *four* NHS trusts.
Lobbying the NHS to hand over even more patient data to Palantir.
This absolutely stinks. Get Palantir out of the NHS. Sign my petition:

Reform fury as someone else wins by Our By-election Editor Tim Shipsink The losing candidate in the Gorton and Denton by-election, Matt Goodwhinge, has demanded an immediate re-run of the election on the grounds that he lost comprehensively to someone else. "It's totally unfair and rigged," said Goodwhinge. "I shouldn't be required to sit there and suck it up, just because I lost." Mr Goodwhine continued, *I can't believe that all those voters I demonised failed to back me. Especially after I was endorsed by Tommy Robinson and ten million Russian bots on X. "We have clear evidence of family voting, where people voted in order for me to stop deporting their families." Mr Badloser concluded. "I'm the victim of colour prejudice. They didn't vote for me simply because I'm not green." Reform leader Mr Farage, speaking from a sun lounger on a rock near the Chagos Islands said, "It's a tragedy that the people of Manchester won't see Matt in Westminster, but my constituents don't see me in Clacton either." Beautiful from Private Eye on the massive toddler-tantrum that Matt Goodwin and Reform are having, because they got whooped in Gorton and Denton.
Well this is an interesting point

I'm delighted with my heat pump β but there are still too many barriers to getting one installed, writes Green MP
@carladenyer.bsky.social
We invested some of our pension in a small solar array, home battery, changed our car to an EV for the same cost as our polo and heat pump. It is cheaper than gas heating, even with the car using cheap rate tariffs through Octopus energy. Our solid wall 1930s house has never been so comfortable.
Rachel Reeves and her chanting Labour backbenchers acknowledged Brexit was wrong during today's #SpringForecast.
Glad to see the govt finally recognising what Greens have said all along: Britain is stronger as part of the EU. It's time to kickstart talks to re-join.
Tory power pose joke saying they look like a Shetland pony has bolted and they are styling it out !
Ta da π
Labour quoting Hannah Spencer's victory speech.
I had the same reply !
Green MP Ellie Chowns said:
βFull membership of the EU remains the best option for the UK, and we are in favour of pursuing a policy to re-join as soon as the political will is present.
We may be getting close ππ€·ββοΈ
You could argue he is also standing by no war signs but I suppose a danger of expressing solidarity at these gatherings is you could be snapped at a difficult camera angle that the press could misinterpret π€·ββοΈπ
Not wishing to become involved in tit for tat posting but that looks like the Iranian flag ? Love and peaceπ
Welcome π
The greens appear to be a wholly decent bunch with a key aspect of not wanting needless wars. Can you evidence this statement?
Ssshhh donβt tell them π€π
I saw a clip of Sting saying another artist had used a sample of his music without authority and was paid Β£2k a day for life because of it, how is this any different?
I think he pledged free croissants so not all bad π
Turns out lowering bills, protecting the NHS and rebuilding our public services is really popular.
This is just the beginning - people are seeing through the attacks and demanding something better.
And we're making hope normal again - together.
