cool rpgmaker tip: plugin recommendation edition here's three free plugins i used for interViolence's DEMO, and a brief overview of the effects they'll have on your game. if you're looking for: - CTC arrows for your game - a dialogue window that you can change the size of during your game - a plugin that allows you to place events on a map with pixel-based movement (instead of a 48x48 grdi) you might find this helpful. enjoy... (mado gives her thumbs up)

plugin 1: LLGalgePauseSign.js gives your message boxes a CTC sign, like in visual novels! all you need to do is put an image between 24-36px in your images folder. then, you can use this plugin to choose the animation and placement of your CTC icon... [image of the ctc icon in action] ... and it'll instantly give you this! this plugin was made by lulu's church.

plugin 2: NRP_messagewindow.js adjust your game's message window during gameplay! this plugin lets you use variables for your game window's height, width, namebox position, and more... which means you can change your window's size, shape and style during gameplay. I used it to change the textbox style between overworld and flashback scenes in interViolence... and turned it off entirely for speech bubble scenes. [shows screenshots of the textboxes in question.] this plugin was made by Takeshi Sunagawa.

plugin 3: TAA_EventOffset.js place events on your map with pixel-based movement! this plugin allows you to put events on a map without a grid. if you're making a game with pixel-based movement (like I am), consdier this plugin an essential download. all you need to get it to work is a comment at the start of your event: <TAA_EO: x=[x value here], y=[y value here]>. [shows screenshot of part of interViolence's living room map.] and voila! no grids. this plugin was made by taaspider. thanks for reading!! links to plugins are in description.
