couldn’t agree more. also i think with the overall state and shrinkage of the gaming industry over the last 2 years, gaming/gamers are just gonna move slower to acquire games and consoles due to overall higher bar of entry and slower to dev and release. interesting to see how this will play out.

In the 90s, I got maybe 2-3 games per YEAR. 4 if I was lucky. We have different expectations now as gamers because of the availability, accessibility, FOMO, hype, etc. surrounding us. Games come and go QUICK.
