Good morning,
Justs sent out my August "newsletter."
This time around it features a creation story based on my fantasy series, something I plan to do each month.
If interested and you like a quick fantasy read, join the newsletter on website.
Additionally, if you started to read a book that lacked a warning or disclaimer about its contents only to find sensitive or darker themes addressed in them, would you stop reading it and feel in a way, mad at the author for not including one?
Do you put warnings and disclaimers in the front matter of your books? Why or why not?
Would you read a book that does not have a warning or disclaimer?
“Gurl” is crazy work 😂
And I’ll get to it soon enough is my attitude about it.
He’s a pretty frustrating character and that could be due in part to the amount of time taken to explore his arc.
I will say im not looking forward to other characters being the focus in subsequent arcs.
It’s a solid book.
I finished earlier this year, I was pretty impressed with the action.
I haven’t been active here for sometime.
Social media is a hassle to balance, especially when trying to build an audience/readership for book publishing.
Finished this bohemoth of a book recently.
I enjoyed it.

This is why they've been working so hard to divide us by sex, gender, race, religion, class, GENERATION, party, region, educational status. Because if I DON'T LIKE YOU...I WON'T DEFEND YOU.

And what game is this?
Writers, we owe it to ourselves and that hopeful reader to conceive, write, and publish that story. I could potentially be the tale they need to get them through something or inspire the storyteller of the future.

Had to make a critical change to the current WIP.
It’s a bit frustrating that I had to but it’ll make the story more cohesive and even in tone.
Writing this manuscript the second time around has a host new challenges to overcome.

If I could record my inner thoughts, I’d probably written more than a dozen books by now.

Are their any contest for indie authors writing short story collections in speculative fiction?
Also, where can I find a list or resource of writing contest for self-published/indie authors writing in the fantasy genre?

I consider him a side character because his actions are in response to that of the Frodo and Sam.
Please share your takes on your favorite side characters.

Who is the greatest side character ever written?
I’d say Gollum. While a central character in The LoTR, Gollum at times provides guidance to the heroes. But more importantly he highlighted key strengths and weaknesses of Frodo and Sam. 🧵
Dang. You ve convinced me to start skimming the foreword.
Honestly I just it was just about someone sharing their love of the story.
The foreword?!
I don’t mind a short prologue. Anything more than three or four pages usually gets a skim through or I find a summary of it somewhere.
Now, if you’re feeling your mostBrandon Sanderson self and want to do a prelude and a prologue…I’d read it based on the boldness alone.
You?
I realized I never shown my cat to you guys.
His name is Grayson and he’s 7. I had him since he was two/three months old. He’s calm and affectionate so he makes a perfect companion.
Don’t mind my son, he was calling for his mom.
