I remember learning about the Hays Code in film school and how it made it so that any amoral protagonist had to meet karmic justice by the end of the film and going “wow, that’s really silly” and then once a week I log online and see people argue that we need stuff like that now or it’s problematic
I just think they’re neat

this whole thing with discord is more than just handing over an ID or your face. it's never about teen safety. they don't care about that. they want to control you, strip you of your privacy. because what is deemed "harmful content" will be whatever they want it to be, including queer people

This kind of willing self-editing really freaks me out, honestly. The removal of ways to discuss serious things in a serious way. It's being done to us on purpose, but we don't have to go along with it

It's insane to me the lengths we fanfic writers go to develop long ass plot stories, just to write that horny, sloppy-wet scene we dreamed about for weeks.
