The CRS was the first organization to fund the launch of the #OPTIMISE clinical trial in Canada, which offers personalized treatments for children, adolescents, and young adults with hard-to-treat cancers.

Immigrant Black women have lower #BreastCancer screening rates and may have more aggressive disease than others. With support from @src-crs.bsky.social Adejoke Adekanmbi is working with these women to understand why they may not be screened and make #cancer screening more accessible for everyone.
T-cell #leukemia often comes back after treatment. The STAT5 protein helps #cancer cells survive treatment, but drugs that target it are too toxic for people with leukemia. With @src-crs.bsky.social support, Johnathon Lucas is seeking new ways to target STAT5 that could yield less toxic treatments.
