the angle mostly died out on "AI will make each person their ideal story/movie/game/song" but for anyone who never got the problem a major part of the value of media is we want a common thing to talk about. we spend more time talking about it than consuming it. if you're the only person who saw it 🤷

It was rewatching my favorite version of The Scarlet Pimpernel and wishing there were more for the female characters to do…

There definitely is! I managed props for a few student plays in college, and there are real similarities.

I’m Rikki, and I write scripts about people who break the rules to do what’s right—usually in the historical genre.
I write because I read Screenwriting for Dummies when I was 15 and want to prove that I’m not a dummy.
Outside of writing, I design escape rooms for my local library!

I was a kid when Spirit, Stallion of the Cimarron came out, so I saw it in theaters. In the middle of the movie a horse walked onscreen and a toddler shouted, “Hello, horsie!” The entire audience laughed.

Walking out of @realgdt.bsky.social ‘s Frankenstein, my best friend said that Mary Shelley would have been proud. I couldn’t agree more—it captures the emotions of the book perfectly as well as pays homage to classic versions of before. See it on the big screen if you can!!
