My only concern is the depth at the back, but that's been an ongoing complaint since 2019 lol

Solid start.
3-0 scoreline was generous for Sporting JAX. Could have been 6-0 or worse.
Also, Augi-Michee-Coffey is gonna be a real problem. Throw in Samu and Obalola.
We got weapons.
Or maybe they were told not to speak of it.
It's pretty much what they're doing on every broadcast tonight.
They definitely cut away at the start of Hartford-Sporting JAX and others confirmed they did for Pittsburgh-Charleston.
Well, seeing Hartford could have scored 6...
Still, that keeper was nothing special.
FT.
Sporting JAX 0:3 Hartford Athletic
A solid start to the season. It may have been against a new club, but there's a lot of weapons in the arsenal out in the 860.
Time for some Brass Bonanza at high volume.
OBA L-O-L-A LOLA!!!!
3-0 HARTFORD
SAMUUUUU!!!
Think that puts this one to bed.
HFD 2-0 JAX
AUGI!!!!!
WELCOME TO HARTFORD, GOOD SIR!
1-0 HA
And it seems to be a league mandated approach after last night's Lou City/Lexington match as they do the broadcast productions (be it local or on ESPN/CBSSN/Golazo).
Can try to hide it all they can, but we know what's up.

..and as expected, the match feed cuts away during the first minute standing protest by Hartford Athletic & Sporting JAX.
USL not beating the "craven cowards" talk.
#RespectYourPlayers
..and it's go time for another season of Hartford Athletic footy.
COYBIG!

Matchday Hartford Athletic @ Sporting JAX Hodges Stadium, Jacksonville, FL March 7, 2026 7:30 PM ET ESPN+/WFSB+/WWAX
It's the first match of the season, but I'm finding it difficult to get fully enthused in light of the USL's shenanigans this week...
But, knowing me, I'll watch tonight.
LFG Hartford!
Kodai-san is surprised.
I mean, the man gave us this:
BVB still have an hour's worth of play left to invent a way of blowing this....
Evidently we do.
Maybe, and hear me out on this, just maybe picking a fight with a nation that has this kind of geographical advantage to cause a metric shit ton of pain economically wasn't the greatest of ideas.
And if the USL decides to authorize replacement players, I will not cross that picket line and will not watch a match on ESPN or CBS.
What the USLPA is asking for isn't an overreach. What the USL did Wednesday was.
Respect your players, USL.
Normally, I'd be stoked for the start of the USL Championship season and be hopeful for Hartford to build on their solid 2025 season.
But with a potential strike by the USLPA looming, it's not hitting the same.
I 100% stand with the USLPA and whatever action they take that they deem appropriate.
USL with a classic case of stepping on a rake followed by slamming a car door on their junk.
This might have ensured a player walkout, and it would be more than justified after this.
*taps sign*
The USL dropping that email 24 hours before the season is supposed to start is certainly a choice...a really bad one.
If they're gonna scab it up, I'm gonna stay home. And I say that as a near day one STH for one of the clubs.
DeLauro throwing the kind of shade that would be asking for a slice from Frank Pepe's and a Foxon Park birch beer....
Plus having LaSalle, Penn, and Drexel join in the fun occasionally too...
The Simpsons called it yet again...
This time last week where I am (Northeast), gas was under $3/gal at every station I passed (there's 7 I pass by taking my wife to work).
Now? Nothing below $3.
Not gonna be overly shocked if it hits $4/gal by this time next week.
This time last week, gas was under $3 a gallon where I am.
I expect by this time next week, it's gonna be over $4 a gallon....
Its more impressive seeing Tate doesn't have a chin to connect with.
