So if you are someone who struggles with anxiety and depression, you aren’t alone. And you aren’t abnormal. And there are things in this modern world that can help that shouldn’t be cast back into the realm of cultural taboo. Ignore the fear mongers and do not be ashamed! You are perfect.
For me, SSRIs are a game-changer. They aren’t a magic bullet, but they remove the wall between you and other helpful therapies. I take Zoloft daily. Without it I believe I would be lost. It lifts the veil that shrouds my ability to enjoy the things I love, like Yoshimura.
So sharing my struggles with what millions of us go through on a daily basis is one way I can combat those old stigmas. We are all in this together. We shouldn’t be made to feel alone or ashamed of something we cannot help, and we shouldn’t be made to fear the potential loss of lifesaving medicine.
Today has been a day of listening to Hiroshi Yoshimura. As we head into unpredictable and scary times, I have found his music to be therapeutic. I don’t often share publicly that I struggle with anxiety and depression, but I fear that the old stigmas are once again being promoted by those in office.
My wife and I call it “going tinks” for fun. Lol

It’s actually this same release. Once the year license ran out, I was able to post it in other places. More people have heard my music from that than all other streamers combined. Haha
