That was a very nasty tornado near Union City MI in the videos Iβm seeing, holy smokes.
Canβt recall many early March days in OK with observations like this.
So Tim Sheehy should be expelled from the Senate and arrested for assault, holy mother of god that was appalling.
"Train the cheese kurds" had me snort.
How many more shots of this tornado/storm do I need to add to my all time list?
Did PVD not receive additional snow following their 37.9" measurement? Also, Central Park absolutely did β 0.15" liquid worth after their 19.7" measurement at 1 PM. Feels like shortchanging a historic storm for the region should be frowned upon (tell this to DCA observers of course).
Might be something that @wxjay.bsky.social knows, would 37.9" at PVD be the highest storm total ever recorded in SNE at one of the major observing sites (e.g. BDL, ORH, PVD, BOS, PWM) for the cities?
37.9 inches (and still snowing) holy mother of god.
So it seems literally any snow band makes it to Providence and just decides to go 0-100 right now.
Looks like Providence just smashed their record from the 1978 blizzard, that's a big one to fall. Also a 3 foot observation from an official station for a major city would be unreal, and I think it's becoming quite likely.
And there it is, reports of structures involved on the west side of Woodward #okwx.
A fire start near Woodward would be a very dangerous situation right now...
Current obs: 84Λ, RH of 11%, sustained winds of 38 mph gusting to 50 mph.
Time to go dunk my face in sulphuric acid.
Bondi is just absolute pure evil.
Mother of god.
I don't think this account exists over here, so this deserves a round of applause. More of this please from the opposition.
Also known as, you know, FOLLOWING THE LAW.
I donβt just mean in science, I want to see some sign that the people in charge of this country and involved in an international pedophile trafficking (and lord knows what else) ring are going to face justice for their evil.
I agree with most of this. However, I will offer one counterpoint to this that involves the ending sentence: βIβd like to see some proof.β
There is a huge amount of precip still to go for the Nashville metro and already with 0.5-0.75β of ice accretion. Still ZR obs at BNA. Very ugly situation setting up there.
We interrupt your regularly scheduled programming to bring youβ¦
And then switch to the ice skates near DFW.
Ok, so what is the contingency plan in place for AMS 2026 if nobody can get there due to this weekend's winter storm that looks to significantly impact at least a few major airports + most interstates leading to Houston?
Fuck.
The.
Hell.
Off.
Europe getting the goods with this solar storm and the United States getting shafted seems incredibly appropriate and deserved given current events.
So traveling to AMS this weekend looks like potentially a massive headacheβ¦
Invoke the 25th Amendment I swear to fucking Christ.
Overall pattern looks ripe for some kind of significant problem in terms of travel down there.
Sure 18z GFS, let's give the I-10 corridor from San Antonio to Houston 0.5-1.5" of ice right as the AMS Annual Meeting starts.
