Too often the lesson that people take away from true crime is that “the person who had this awful thing happen to them did x, so I must make sure I don’t do x” which kinda comes out in the wash as both victim blaming AND an unhelpful anxiety in the world / stranger danger. That’s not good!

It has been! I’ve been mostly trying out different surfaces to kicksled on to see how fast we can go and it’s been fun.

I hate when I accidentally drop something into sugar snow and 1) it is now covered in little ice pebbles but 2) whatever you dropped can SINK and the snow is impossible to look through because you have to SIFT it. 💀💀💀 LMAO I CAN GO ON.
