Fade to black.
Fade to black.
Rogue Trader Space Marine Harris, sporting a fresh bandage.
My fav part of this particular mini is how everyone always interprets the little ridge on his nose differently. I've seen them painted as metal, I did mine as a bandage.
Insert "They're the same picture" meme here.
Loving the pose you gave the Night Horrors hand. I put mine bursting up from the ground, now debating if I should strip it and copy yours.
I have a resin printer, but since I live in an apt with no reasonable way to vent, I've never been able to use it. ๐ญ
Ahhhh! I see Otherworld Elementals hanging on that rack!
I've been searching for an Earth Elemental to complete my set for awhile, so looks like I'll have to keep an eye on when the online store is updated. ๐
Huh, this is surprisingly timely. I've been trying (and failing) to find a source for Oldhammer style blister packaging for a miniature line, the whole heat-seal-plastic-wedge-to-cardboard approach.
Seems like most companies want you to use clamshells.
Most of the adventurer series from the ADD line were like that. Fighters, Wizards, Illusionists, etc.
There were a couple, like the Bard and Barbarian that didn't. They just got horses.
A trio of miniatures from the Citadel AD&D series ADD03 Clerics with Mace, showing a low level, mid level, and high level Cleric. They're painted with purples, golds, and tans standing on underdark terrain.
Citadel ADD03 Clerics with Mace explore the underdark.

"My 'Find Treasure' spell says there's BAGS of LOOT on the other side of this wall!"
"What about spiders, John? Last time you said you used that spell, the place was covered in spiders."
"I guarantee you: no spiders at all."
That episode was called "The Rime of the Pon Farr Mariner," wasn't it?
Citadel Night Horrors "Lagoon Creature" -- obviously influenced by the Creature from the Black Lagoon. Painted in green with two mushrooms on the base and swamp plants in the rear.
Citadel Night Horrors "Lagoon Creature," circa 1987-1988.
A surprisingly swift paintjob, using a simple scheme posted by @monument-hobbies.bsky.social on Insta (they do not appear to be very active here on Bluesky).

But you didn't include "GW ยฉ 1999" or "WITHOUT HOLES" on the underside? Pffft, freakin' casual.
For real tho, this is a really cool idea. Love it!
Six Oldhammer Plaguebearers on resin bases (with mushrooms!), painted in various fleshy & sickly colours of Nurgle. NMM swords.
Busy lately, with work AND painting, but haven't had anything new to show off.
So here's some #oldhammer plaguebearers I painted about four years ago that I never showed off here.
Hah, I'm actually a Patreon backer of both of them. ๐
Love Drew's sculpts, I've bought most everything he's done so far. And just recently made my first order of Big Mr Tong's stuff in resin.
Who did the not-Saturnine?
Was just at your blog the other day and wondering if you were still active, haha.
Lovely fan sculpt! I feel like since I'm not on FB, I miss out on the best fan sculpts all the time.
What if we tilt shift a miniature diorama? Does that break physics
Totally imagining you in some social situation there in Australia and suddenly asking, "By the way, what accent is that I keep hearing? Irish?"
Before you know it, you'll be changing your channel name to "Snipe & Wib: Balls & Shaft."
The algorithm has spoken and that's what it wants, apparently.
Scan the squat side. Lot of the online images for this page are kind of low rez so it's worth getting a crisp & clear copy for yourself.
I know *exactly* what adventure scenario you're talking about. It's one of the mini series GW pretends they never made, heh.
Check out some of the cultists from the Gothic Horror line. Could potentially recreate a 1920s hate crime if you're not careful about which colour you paint the robes.
Said this on YT, but Snipe hissing out, "Guess he failed his six plus saaave" was comedy gold btw
Said this before, but it's such a great sculpt! Influenced by the mountain giant in the Fiend Folio?
Citadel Rogue Trader Space Marines, awaiting their technicolour dream.
Citadel AD&D Gnolls, on hexagon base and in a tightly packed regiment.
I do a similar thing. Clean, base and zenithal minis inbetween painting.
Of course, most of my minis end up on trays like this, which feels overwhelming, heh.
They look like they should be the odd pairing that travels around, solving crimes where ever they end up.
As in, the cowboy points at a crime and the minotaur walks over and smashes the ever lovin crap out of it
OMG the thumbnail is glorious. Has "No, I can definitely see your commander from theeeere!" vibes.
Why isn't there a Willem Dafoe Platoon death scene meme that just says "FINECAST!?" cause it feels very apropos
Citadel Halfling "Samgaff" from the Terror of the Lichemaster Scenario, painted in greens, tans and yellows with a tree symbol on his shield.
Samgaff the Halfling from the Citadel Terror of the Lichemaster scenario, originally from the C11 Halfling series and known as Dery Podgebelly.
I love that he has a cowbell around his neck.

Citadel Talisman Necromancer, painted in purple and yellow. A Citadel familiar is behind him, carrying scrolls.
A Citadel Talisman Necromancer up to no good (but looking suave and dapper nonetheless).

It's the lead poisoning, I recognize it from myself, hehe.
