David Feiss (Cow & Chicken and I Am Weasel) got ''involved'' (Kidnapped) into some NFT-scam like a year ago.
The things that misinformation + irrelevancy fearmongering does to veteran creators/animators is sad.

βCourage the Cowardly Dogβ creator John R. Dilworth says he is stepping away from the cryptocurrency space after backlash from fans:
βI'M OUT! Iβll find other funding for my movies. Thank you!β
It's-a time of the year again-a wahoo!

This is one of 2025's best movies. But you won't get to see it compete at the Oscars.
It's called Nobody, and it earned almost $250 million on a $10< million budget. A future is coming for small, risky films β with or without the Oscars. We explore: animationobsessive.substack.com/p/the-film-t...
Not content to just steal from the real deal, this game is also ripping off fan designs π¬
Honestly pretty sad how most "indie" games now seem less like actual concepts with time and thought put into them and more like some parody shit you'd see on Johnny Test made up on the spot so that the writers can avoid having to pay royalties.
βScent-imental Over Youβ was released on this day in 1947. Chuck Jonesβ new Charles Boyer skunk caricature was renamed from Henri to Stinky. Instead of an orange male tabby cat, itβs a female Chihuahua in disguise.

βRobin Hood Daffyβ, directed by Chuck Jones, was released on this day in 1958. It is to laugh indeed as this short marks the last in a series of genre parody shorts starring Daffy Duck and Porky Pig. #LooneyTunes

A drawing I made parodying Nintendo clickbait channels in 2026, parodying the over-the top thumbnail style. The things I drew are the Mario with lighting eyes over him and the stock market behind the fire. The fire decal is a stock image and Shigeru Miyamoto is a meme edit made by someone else. The text on the fake thumbnail says "POO POO TEST?!" in reference to Rocket Monkeys and one of the more infamous memes that spawned from it. The text below that says "Modern Nintendo is FRENCH FRIES", parodying NintenDeen's video "Mario Kart World is FRENCH FRIES". The Mario drawing I drew in particular is a parody of thumbnails using AI slop pictures of a sad, angry, or afraid Mario, with this Mario I drew not being AI slop. The lightning in his eyes references AI slop TikTok edits of meme characters with lightning in their eyes too, amplifying the parodic nature of this drawing.

Good to know there are some good news out in there in the world
βHollywood understands anime/asian culture now!β
I just heard from someone at Disney that the success of KPop Demon Hunters sent the entire executive team into a βwe need demon hunting animeβ frenzy that lasted months
Yes, they STILL think itβs anime
A drawing of Snap from chalkzone with flowers, clouds, suns, and little pencils with wings drawn around him with light blues, pinks, yellows, and greens. The text around him reads "YOU GOTTA DRAW SOMRTHING"
This one is for the homies with art block! #chalkzone #fanart #art
the terrifying cover to the video game "Skunny" which I think might be the 7th Skunny game somehow
all the ironic fake 90s platformer mascots like Volvy or Gwimbly seem much more realistic than "Skunny Hardnut" who released like 6 games in one year including a kart racer and a game where he has to kill sadaam hussein
Colorised sketcbook pages depicting various character from the Mario franchise. On the left side, Goombella and Vivian chat over a cup of tea about their crushes. On the top right, Rosalina daydreams at a garden table with a mug of hot tea in her hand. Behind her, a starry background where a few lumas twirl around with Mario's spaceship. And finally on the botom right, Luigi hums while reading a magazine.
My ultimate anti-stress remedy ? Drawing Mario characters in casual clothes, having a nice time π

wanna do like an otp redraw thing except it's this bit
I really hate generations so much. I hate having a label that makes it easy to be looked down upon by the rest of the world while I struggle to "properly" relate to people in my own demographic either due to missing out on trends or the stuff I was into being too niche to be widely remembered.
A colored sketch of an adult Buttercup from The Powerpuff Girls smoking a cigarette
A colored sketch of Dynamite Headdy
A lineless doodle of Huckleberry Hound's head
Some sketches I did in a Magma once I have yet to post
Tobor The Eighth Man episode 1 out of context
shoutouts to these mickey dolls with hard plastic faces if orville had a mass produced doll these would be number 1 inspiration
my animation prof worked on powerpuff girls so i got to witness this beautiful cel from 1994 today
I had a lot of fun writing a new article for
@cartoonbrew.bsky.social about cartoon beavers throughout animation history, tying in with the release of Pixar's HOPPERS! Take a look for some great clips and history.
Also makes me wonder how Gen Alpha and Beta are gonna react to the show now that the classic shorts are widely available again via Tubi and YT uploads (at least the ones that went out of their way to watch them at least)
Im at least happy that the frequent bad reductivist takes from back then like "this is the only good looney tunes spin off and the characters should only be portrayed like this moving foward" and "the original shorts' humor is outdated and has no relevance in the modern day" are mostly dead now.
I don't hate TLTS as much as I used to (in fact I haven't even watched the show since like 4 years ago) but the two hit combo of experiencing it's obnoxious twitter fandon during its reappraisal along with bad personal experiences made me completely disinterested in ever watching it again.
games criticism effectively doesn't actually exist as an real serious profession and most of the people labeling themselves as such are either running free PR for the industrry or are usually dogmatic writers playing at being connoisseurs of their niche at best
Whenever you see takes like "We should ban anime because only chuddy chuds like it and (trope that hasn't been popular in mainstream anime since the Obama admin) gives me the ick!"- it's just this. A sublimated desire to bully the nerds for liking something they don't.
