Consciously choosing to lay aside your preferences or agenda for a time in order to aid or serve another is not the same thing as having low boundaries.
People with low boundaries compulsively live out others' agendas while feeling they have no choice to do otherwise.
Evangelical environments too often function from the assumption that spiritual maturity means having low boundaries.
