This is definitely the best photo I've taken while putting my phone back in my pocket. Oh well.

It's getting closer every day.

One of a series of photos showing taken in an upper Midwest USA deciduous forest. It is mid-autumn, and the trees are mostly full of green leaves, although there are hints of their color beginning to change to yellows and oranges, and fallen leaves lightly litter the ground. Most of the photos in this series show two hikers traipsing through the landscape, occasionally encountering a bridge over the small stream.
