So never. Trump will not declares defeat as that would mean he was wrong, and in his mind it is fundamentally impossible for him, the most perfect organism to ever have and will live, to ever be wrong about anything.

Trump has always believed that he is objectively smarter than anyone who ever has or will live.

If Iran does anything that stops the flow of Oil within the Strait of Hormuz, they will be hit by the United States of America TWENTY TIMES HARDER than they have been hit thus far. Additionally, we will take out easily destroyable targets that will make it virtually impossible for Iran to ever be built back, as a Nation, again — Death, Fire, and Fury will reign upon them — But I hope, and pray, that it does not happen! Either Iran continues to inflict enough military and economic pain until it can reassure itself that deterrence has been restored or its capabilities are eroded to the point where declaring victory is meaningful, even short of regime change. We seem far away from both scenarios. For now there is no off ramp. The way is shut.
