Marine Veteran Brian McGinnis is now out of the hospital after being assaulted by Senator Tim Sheehy.
"We know that Israel has broken the so-called ceasefire agreement in Gaza hundreds of times with no consequence from the United States. Is this a partnership we want to take into yet another endless and destabilizing war?"
@emanabdelhadi.bsky.social reports on what we know.

Great voice actor as well. Was memorable in a radio play of Daphne DuMaurier’s The Birds a full decade before Hitchcocks loose adaptation.
Herbert Marshall in The Fly.
Herbert Marshall lost a leg in world war one, and went on to become a leading man in Hollywood. He worked to help injured troops after becoming famous, especially amputees. #TheFilmcrowd
Body cam footage shows Kenneth Jackson, the Trump-installed new USIP President; Laken Rapier, Jackson’s Chief-of-Staff; DOGE workers Nate Cavanaugh and Justin Fox; and DOGE lawyer Justin Aimonetti were present at the raid. MPD let them in through a side door, despite USIP staff's objections.
SCOOP — Body camera footage obtained as a result of my lawsuit against the DC Metropolitan PD confirms DOGE and the Trump administration openly admitted they were entering private property when they raided the building on March 17, 2025. That didn't stop MPD from breaking down the doors.
My report:
I planned to share my report on the body cam footage early next week when I learned that a DC news station had obtained some of the footage as a result of my lawsuit and they were going to scoop me. After working on this for a year, I couldn't let that happen. Published 2 mins before they aired :)
Tweet from Wu Tang is for the Children retweeting Lockheed Martin: highlighting “we began this work months ago”: Wu Tang is for the Children • @WUTangKids X.com Oh just the @LockheedMartin account casually admitting that they've known about the war months ago Lockheed Martin Y @LockheedMartin X.com We have agreed to quadruple critical munitions production. As a result of President @realDonaldTrump's leadership, we began this work months ago with @SecWar Hegseth and Deputy Secretary Feinberg.

Oh.
“We have agreed” — how nice of them! Surely they’re doing this work pro bono right?
Evening viewing recommendation? Watch WHO KILLED TEDDY BEAR? (1965)! Evocatively shot on location in stark black and white, the daringly ahead of its time Joseph Cates's film—presented here in its long-unseen, fully uncensored form—is a relentlessly tawdry time capsule of midsixties Times Square.
You can add the civilians who’ve died for the same reason. We’re all pawns in their game. Or we’re all checkers. Or we’re all scratch-off lottery tickets in their global playground.
The tribute he truly deserves 🖤
@samuelljackson shared a few words to honor the great Rev. Jesse Jackson at the @naacpimageawards 🗣️
If Biden had hosted a WH event on the frivolous topic of college sports while bombing Iran, legacy media reporters would have ripped him a new one. Reporters clearly are more pro-Trump than the average American. I think it’s because it’s easier to cover Trump’s spectacles than policy reporting.
Good for him but this is nothing to celebrate. Perhaps if he didn't kill anyone when he had his accident. A very good friend of ours, the father of two young daughters was murdered by a drunk driver 30 years ago. It was a devastating loss. He never went to prison.

I don’t see any evidence that he hurt anyone but himself. I see the point about not differentiating between lethal and nonlethal drunk driving because only chance distinguishes them. But the punishment has to fit the crime, and it sounds like some who do kill people aren’t sufficiently punished.
Spring is so beautiful. Frogs are fuckin’
Mayor Mamdani and a child play with Legos while looking very serious and concentrated. The child is impossibly adorable and wearing tiny blue glasses.
