I was hoping Canada would win because I knew this was going to happen. And thatβs terrible
Every time I see a report of ICE leaving Minnesota or Minneapolis I think "I wish" because uh, they're still here being assholes & terrorizing people, just not as much in some places but more so in other places best I can tell and of course people are still imprisoned in misery at Whipple & . . . π§΅
My good friends sadly moved to Costa Rica she was one of the founders of our local Indivisible. She is extremely sensitive and knew with the last election her days would be mired in despair. They are incredibly happy I asked her if they had regrets she said no, she loves it there
In between all the fascism, it's also a MASSIVE crime wave.
Jim Read tells it like it is here in Minnesotaπ₯Ί
Politics Girl:
Today is the tipping point.
The stuff I have been thru w my son is astronomical. I have the medical spreadsheet in my brain and Iβm 67 now. It is seemingly endless and who will be able to do this when I canβt?

I donβt even drink and I adore π₯° this!!
Yesterday on the longest night we had our 19th Longest Night Homeless Memorial in Ventura. I helped make most of the headstones this year for the 117 unsheltered people who we know died in our county. As I traced their names and ages I felt the sacredness of their lives.
Do you sell your artwork?
I ordered replacement ink for our printer today. It was 87.00. Itβs always seemed high at 69.00 but now I canβt even believe this!!
Imagine you had millions of people in your life who ignored everything you ever said but would show up once a year and make a huge deal about your birthday, claiming they were your biggest fans.
Crazy, right?
Anywayβ¦Merry Christmas.
We call ourselves Seniors in Action. We get furniture for homeless people when they are going to move into their new places! People in the community donate and we go get it. Let me tell you lifting furniture when you are 65-75 keeps you young and happy. Great camaraderie and really healthy!
The windchill here is -4 degrees and Iβm waiting for the bus. As I blink through the ice shards blowing into my eyeballs at 30 mph, I think about how glad I am they took the bus shelter down.
At least the unhoused will have cause to reflect on how little they contributed to the economy.
Mine are blooming right now. Magical
Are we supposed to have things this beautiful in December?? Itβs such a surprise and breathtaking
My family so assorted. This affects both of my children so much, my autistic son and beautiful black daughter. How dare they do this to the minds of all, including my kids. They are terrified
What a grand way to help and raise a bit of money! Us UUs are always community minded and resourceful ππ
It is all donated by the community and we have been doing it for 6 years. She cried when she picked her bed. I am so grateful today for our team of all senior citizen volunteers and the community that supports us.
Our Moving In Project was able to provide this woman with furniture as she moved from a shelter to her own place yesterday! The 3 men with her were also from the shelter we told them we hoped we could help them with furniture soon! We give folks everything they need to move in to a place
I am thinking maybe he was affected by ICE. Maybe a friend or family member sent back or worse away. Maybe he didnβt know the difference between the different entities. Just musing
This was our beautiful double rainbow here in Ventura CA
They always go with looks. Thatβs what is so important to them
My cancer doctor refused to sign the permanent disability papers for the DMV when I had my lung removed. I didnβt want to go sit there every 3 months to renew it. My friend said βdoes he think itβs going to grow back?β. You never know what is going to happen to you
Thank you for all you have done and do Paul. My son Patrick Campbell a National Guardsman worked with you at IAVA and you got many amazing things accomplished, the new GI Bill. Kudos to all
I think about the in between for him. Being taken and nonverbal. My son is an autistic man. He canβt eat many foods. He would have been overwhelmed and terrified. This is over and over and horrifying
