A photograph of an orca in a pool, with their mouth open, revealing sharp teeth. The water is bright blue, and the orca's black-and-white markings contrast against it. Overlaid on the image is bold red text stating, "NO ORCA HAS EVER DIED OF OLD AGE AT SEAWORLD." Below the text, a website URL, "www.herbivore.club," is displayed. The image highlights the issue of orca captivity and premature deaths in marine parks.

Orcas are born to explore vast oceans, not confined to concrete pools.

The image is a split graphic with two contrasting photos.

Top half: Shows a pod of orcas swimming freely in the ocean with the word "RIGHT" in bold green letters. The website "www.herbivore.club" is indicated at the top.

Bottom half: Depicts a single orca jumping out of the water in a marine park with a trainer present, and the word "WRONG" in bold red letters.

Orcas held in captivity endure immense physical and psychological suffering. It's time to give them back their lives 💔

Yes, I find this aspect of the farm animal business depressing.

Depicting animals as if they are oh so happy to be treated as they are, solely to be consumed by us, is just oh so wrong.

A captive orca swims in a small, tank with a speech bubble that reads, "The ocean is just too big." Below the image, bold white text states, "SAID NO ORCA EVER." The image highlights the absurdity of keeping orcas in captivity instead of allowing them to live freely in the ocean.

The Happy Egg Co: A Masterclass in Consumer Manipulation Herbiⓥore published a post on Ko-fi

There’s something especially bleak about an industry dressing up exploitation in cartoons and sunshine. That’s exactly what The Happy Egg Co does - slapping a smile on slavery and calling it breakfast.

An image with the caption "Being the only vegan at a family dinner" at the top. The image shows a tennis player on a court shielding themselves from an overwhelming barrage of tennis balls flying at them from all directions. The humorous context suggests the challenges of being a vegan in a non-vegan environment.

Indonesia Has Banned Elephant Rides In Zoos Nationwide Herbiⓥore published a post on Ko-fi

Elephant rides are being banned in places like Indonesia. That’s progress. But removing the ride doesn’t remove the system. Zoos, safari parks, and wildlife attractions still rely on turning living individuals into tourist experiences.

The image features a large orca (killer whale) visible through the glass of an aquarium tank, with silhouettes of people in the foreground observing it. A quote overlays the image: "No aquarium, no tank in a marine land, however spacious it may be, can begin to duplicate the conditions of the sea. -Jacques-Yves Cousteau". The logo for PETA (People for the Ethical Treatment of Animals) is in the top right corner, and there's a small attribution to © Jo-Anne McArthur / We Animals in the bottom left corner.

What is Angora Wool? Herbiⓥore published a post on Ko-fi

Is Animal Exploitation A Relationship Dealbreaker? Herbiⓥore published a post on Ko-fi

When someone rejects animal exploitation and their partner sees animals as food, the conflict isn’t culinary. It’s ethical. A new survey shows nearly half of UK vegans consider that divide a relationship dealbreaker.

A four-panel comic featuring a captive dolphin in a small pool, expressing her perspective on captivity.

1. In the first panel, she is drawn with clown makeup and a party hat. The text reads, **"I am not a clown."**
2. In the second panel, she is depicted as a mechanical toy with a wind-up key and a ball on her nose. The text reads, **"I am not a toy."**
3. In the third panel, she is wearing a pink bow while posing for a selfie with a human. The text reads, **"I am not a photo prop."**
4. In the final panel, she looks sad while gazing at another dolphin swimming freely in the ocean. The text reads, **"I am a sentient being that lost her family and freedom."**

The comic, drawn in soft blues and greys, critiques the exploitation of dolphins in captivity for entertainment, showing how they are treated as objects rather than individuals.

Not here to be a clown.
Not here to be your toy.
Not here to be a photo prop.
She’s here to live freely, to thrive in the wild with her family. Instead, she’s trapped for human entertainment.
It’s time to stop treating sentient beings like objects.

A digital illustration features a cartoon-like "ghost net" with a friendly face, resembling a ghost but made of fishing net material. The net is trapping a dolphin, which appears sad and struggling. The background is a soft blue, representing the ocean. Above the illustration, the text reads "GHOST NETS," and below, it states, "THE MOST DANGEROUS SOURCE OF OCEAN PLASTIC." The artist's credit, "Just Comics / Joan Chan," is written at the bottom.

Ghost nets are abandoned fishing gear floating in our oceans, trapping and killing countless marine animals. These invisible killers devastate wildlife and ecosystems. Do you support this or are you vegan?

A four-panel comic illustrates the impact of plastic pollution. In the first two panels, a child and an adult sit at a table playing with small plastic toys. The adult warns, "Never eat anything plastic!" The child asks, "What will happen if I do?" The adult replies, "Your stomach will hurt! You'll go to the hospital!" In the last two panels, the scene shifts underwater, where a mother dolphin and her calf swim among floating plastic debris. The mother dolphin repeats, "Never eat anything plastic!" The calf asks, "What will happen if I do?" The mother solemnly responds, "You'll starve and die painfully..." The comic highlights the devastating consequences of plastic pollution for marine life.
