Idk if the issues here are rlly so glaring or if i simply got burnt out. But mainly just busy all the time and trying to be consistent eons ago was soul crushing. I improved a lot and it was fun but long term its not good for me. I do gen luv my moots tho, found so many beautiful artists ❤️💞

I hope bluesky improves, not for the owners of this place, but for the people that make it what it is, for the community. It has great potential. But its simply not for me anymore.

And it sucks because i cant seem to find a corner of the internet that gives me the freedom i need as an artist and even as someone who enjoys a silly reaction meme without also letting bigotry slide, which ive heard is also a problem here, but i dont remember. (6/?)

Process for me because of the lack of drafts, but i worked around it. But with the strange rules and lack of features that i tend to rely on, i got frustrated. I came here for artistic freedom, and now because of situations like what happened with link, i found myself tip toeing even more. (5/?)

But i briefly looked back and there was a user link who was banned, and probably other things i simply cant remember. I got tired. I couldnt keep spending hours writing posts, interacting with art shares, and then trying to make new art that id make new alt text for, which was a difficult (4/?)

I dont have the creative energy to do what i was doing long term, especially for zero financial payoff. But i also think even if it had i wouldve gotten burnt out.
But also i was simply burnt out with things happening on bluesky. I cant remember it all, as its been months, (3/?)

I worked rlly hard to share my art, even though i do wish id worked harder to socialize too. Its hard to let go of that. But i have a job and i dont have the time for art anymore, least not what i used to. I rlly wanted to live off of my art, but i think thats simply not realistic for me. (2/?)

So, apparently Bluesky PERMANENTLY banned someone for posting a single Charlie Kirk meme.

AJ is a fantastic community builder who had a big account & is an adjunct prof at Howard University. The idea that he doesn't even deserve a first warning is absurd.
