I have an old dog that I say can’t play fetch either. She fetches it once, but then insists I go after it, follows me and grabs it before I can and runs back to drop it where I threw it from. Perhaps they just know it’s better when they engage us in the fun ❤️
But they are unique *in* Quebec.
I got mine at 35. Have fun. Be safe.
Avoid temptation
Guilty by association
So you need be new car
Let your fingers take a walk
Through the business guide for the "born again" flock
You'll be keeping all your money
In the kingdom now
And you'll only drink milk from a Christian cow
Don't you go casting your bread
To keep the heathen well-fed
Line Christian pockets instead
I need to rewatch Sopranos. Tell her not to ration; you can always find more shows. My wife trusts my selections more than her own now whereas initially she gave me hard no’s on a lot of series.
Students take courses from either uni if they want, work in labs on either…with Paul Mazzerole leaving, why not use the opportunity to start cutting admin? StUNB anyone?
Boo. StUNB is the obvious merge since there is already so much integration (students can take courses at both regardless of where they attend). And Paul Mazzerole has resigned to return to AUS, so what better time to plan a merge?
Why do so many people give professional athletes a pass in a time of such income inequality anyway (ie. hate Jeff Bezos but multimillions for a baseball contract is cool)? It’s time to include them in the tax the rich discussion.
In a time when the disparity between the rich and the rest of us is increasingly disgusting, why are we still willing to support athletes making money completely disproportionate to their contributions to society? To expect them to have a higher moral standard than my other millionaire is ludicrous.
We wish them much success.
Also need more classes of licenses for different sized vehicles. Backup and surround vehicle cameras help, but a lot of people drive vehicles bigger than their skills should allow.
Normally would agree, but STU and UNB totally need to be amalgamated.
Wow, you are a a fast reader!
If you are in that situation after the first book, I’ll look up the link for the discussion for you.
Christopher Ruocchio sites it (four novel series) as a major inspiration/influence. I couldn’t put it down, but finished book one with a “what the hell did I just read?” So I watched a BookTube discussion led by Ruoccio and realized how much I missed or misunderstood.
I would say keep reading. I read the first couple as they were published, so read The Fall after.
Have you read Book of the New Sun by Gene Wolfe?
After he wrote the first book or two he wrote a prequel novella called The Fall that you should be able to get free by signing up for his newsletters. I think a lot of people start there; his writing had begun improving and it is more of a ‘drops you in with no background’ way to start.
If you are like the rest of us, you’ll be pursuing the best moleskine-esque journal next that has good quality, non-bleed through paper.
The way he lists facts, I wonder if he was my elementary school pen pal that asked if we all live in igloos, have American food like hot dogs and pizza, and keep moose in the backyards as pets.
Me too. I can only conclude they get better after that whacky second instalment, but it was so bad I don’t think I care enough to try.
We need to start calling him Marjorie (Taylor Green). CROSSFIT!!
Please close your Tik Tok account.
It looked like she could have done it, but not an intentional motion like the men. Luckily for her, Marc handling his situation like an asshat means they all get extra scrutiny.
You were close, McDonalds and “food” really don’t co-exist.
I have it in my TBR. Reading Long Price Quartet now, but you should read Discovery by JAJ Minton. The first of the series is all that is out now, but it was really good. I also have The Bound and the Broken series (Ryan Cahill) lined up (the first is tropey, but I hear it gets better).
I struggled through the second, quit partway through the third.
Me too
