If violence is the price women must pay for political participation, we lose not only future politicians – but also an inclusive and representative democracy. 3/3
Our research shows:
⚠️ Violence against women in politics discourages young women from entering. Many stay behind the scenes or reduce their online presence for safety, but that also limits their visibility, voice, and chances to reach voters. 2/3
