Many scientists contacted the SITC concerned about UKRI cuts, especially to large Physics projects. Sir Ian said the overall budget was not being reduced but rising costs created a funding gap driving the reductions announced. He admitted a communications failure.

Proud of my PhD student CHENYANG LI, who passed his viva. His PhD builds upon Hillier's latest work to develop a framework for typologies of graph structures for comparable description of complex buildings. The examiners were Prof Steadman Bartlett UCL+ Koch, KTH. Chenyang was sponsored by EPSRC.

I was in great company, among inspirational and remarkable women from 15 categories, researchers, artists, scientists, neurosurgeons and many others who fight cancer, aging, climate change in Greece and different parts of the world.
The institution of GIWA honours Greek women who with their strength, creativity, excellence and vision are internationally recognised lighting the path for the next generation.
I am pleased to share that I was awarded the Greek International Women’s Award in the category of Design, GIWA. The award was the outcome of 35 years of academic contributions in Architecture, architectural and urban research.

Excellent week as Geddes Visiting Fellow, Edinburgh College of Art University of Edinburgh. I attended the Imagining Interiors Conference where I gave a keynote speech. I met PhD students, post-grad students, staff and colleagues. And I was excited to see my books in good company at the conference.
