I guess it depends on how equipped your LA is to keep meeting your needs. Ours is collapsing around our ears & I was worried about missing the opportunity to join the only MAT we considered a good fit for us. We hopefully convert on November 1st. Still a few reservations but the pros outweigh these.

Oh the horror I have encountered from 'experts' when I tell them about our Shakespeare week for KS1 and Reception. Approach it properly and break it down so they look at character and setting (Midsummer ND and Tempest are good). Also oops to find out about Shakespeare himself and the the Globe.

I can see lots of secondary expertise and some primary however only Cassie Buchanan's bio mentions Early Years. The mis-match between the EYFS and KS1 curricula needs addressing asap, as anyone with a mixed age class will tell you. Would be nice to see them starting from EYFS and working up.
