I have now spotted a second error and it's too late to correct.

Know that when you like the above I am reminded of the missing L in Blobby. Feel free to do it anyway, just also know it cuts deep 😭

🔴 Nigel Farage’s Long History of Crying ‘Fraud’ Whenever His Party Loses Elections

The Reform UK leader has a long record of blaming his own party’s election defeats on “cheating” by ethnic minorities, yet no evidence of it can ever be found.

OK, the Gorton and Denton by-election, I have some thoughts!

Let's take a look at some of the FACTS and burst a few of the more ridiculous takes doing the rounds

But first up, can we acknowledge just what bad losers Reform are?!🤣

Right, let's get started...

I guess Labour can be glad Keir didn't quit over the Mandleson stuff so he can be the leader who led them to this. Gaining nothing from the right, losing badly to the left. Following the Tories and becoming rudderless party with a majority by chasing shadows and conspiracies.

What a silhouette. You sure the song is about a person? Getting a different impression in this house.

Just because someone is rich and highly successful in business doesn't mean their brain can't be utterly melted online.

And all of that while the service deteriorates. Near impossible to search for a sport on replay. Hunt the feed for a while then side scroll forever, wrong one, start over. Impossible to tell which feed has ads and which is ad-free (who would choose ads?) Increasingly no ad-free option for sports.

Still living in the dumbest timeline. Keep trying to appeal to people who hate you pushing those who might vote for you away as hard as possible.

Not to downplay anyone's feelings or concerns, but surely HGVs mounting the pavement are an order of magnitude more dangerous than a cycle track at a bus stop. Odd how groups claiming to represent pedestrians and those with disabilities don't seem to be vocally exercised by this kind of thing eh?

Starmer forced to admit he knew of Mandelson's continued relationship with Epstein after the first convicton when he appointed him ambassador. Eek this is a shocker.

Badenoch has nailed him on this.

Clarity, in case required, no resentment to those who left that way. Just University leadership for using VS as a tool to dodge discussion.

15.01.2026 07:56 👍 6 🔁 0 💬 1 📌 0

While people who were about to retire in 2025 were given VS, and extra money from our apparently cash strapped employer to do so, just to put a block on hiring to fill that role. Given every role has to go to approval to rehire anyway that seemed like management wanting to avoid the conversation.

Hundreds of staff leave Edinburgh University amid cuts drive According to the university, 345 of these departures were the result of a targeted voluntary severance (VS) scheme run by the institution in 2025.

Missing from the coverage of redundancies at Edinburgh: this was done in such a haphazard, uncoordinated way, there are now core teams who have gone from 5 people to 1 with no change in workload or pressure and huge loss in knowledge of institutional process. www.heraldscotland.com/news/2576321...
