That would definitely explain the fear and panic for a large part of the tech industry. There will definitely need to be a mental shift for a lot of developers going forward to stay relevant and useful. The ones who are good at designing systems will utilize AI to stay ahead
I was annoyed with this video at first because he was doing a lot of talk about lines of code, then he hit a point that really clicked for me. A lot of developers I work with are very good at the coding aspect, but they are terrible designers of systems and bad problem solvers of user issues.
