Still unsure if Gege's writing totally works for me but this is a notable improvement. It explores its very complicated main conflict mostly gracefully and I really like how it's resolved even if it feels a bit jumpy in places.

23. GUNGRAVE
Might just be the coolest looking game on the PS2, it's a perfect translation of Nightow's style in 3D. The aesthetic is all that it leans on since it's pretty one-note mechanically, but on the flip-side it's so short that it doesn't really drag the experience down.
