Oluf Rygh nn.wikipedia.org/wiki/Oluf_Rygh not only began that essential work Norske Gaardnavne, but also excavated in 1867 the #Tune #Viking #Ship (being moved to this week), the first of the three famous ships to be excavated. He was the first professor of archaeology in a Scandinavian university.
