The other geometry down was the mine spacing, and I was glad to see @trekculture.bsky.social spotted it. The charts show them being more spaced out than star systems, but they show them as a wall that is less spaced than stars. As the Hitchhiker's Guide says "Space is big. Really big..."

I'm enjoying the current Star Trek offering, but have a geometry down for E9. You shouldn't ask for a 360° scan in space. It is fine if you on a 2D surface, but in 3D, you have more directions you can choose from, so it should be a 4π steradian scan (or about 41253°²).

An infographic with weighing scales showing that the majority of universities not on X outweigh those still using the platform
If you are part of a university or UK facing research organisation, publisher, funder, learned society and they are still posting on X - they're in a rather uncomfortable minority now. Perhaps point them to the eXit.

Composite image made up of 6 frames,
2 images wide by side repeated 3 times, zooming in further on the faces each time.
On the left, a woman holds her hand in the air to attract attention while kneeling next to a man who has fallen down clutching his chest,
on the right, a serious-faced man holding a briefcase
Woman: Y a t'il un docteur ici?.
Man: Je suis docteur. Que se passe t'il?
Woman: Une attaque cardiaque !
Man: Je suis docteur en philosophie !
Woman: Il va mourir...
Man: Nous allons tous mourir.
Translation in English:
Woman: Is there a doctor here?
Man: I am a doctor, what happened to him?
Woman: - a heart attack
Man: I am a doctor of philosophy
Woman: He's going to die...
Man: We're all going to die
I've only got 2 French jokes, this is the best

PayGap.ie - Irish Gender Pay Gap Portal
A portal cataloguing gender pay gap reports from Irish companies.
Friends, I'm working on allowing people to access PayGap.ie in Irish. I'm close to finished on the code work needed to support translatable strings everywhere, and will do my best at a first pass of the translations too, but if there's any Irish speakers willing to give it a look, let me know!

Hey, my name is in the Epstein files! I've told the story before, but should probably re-up.
TLDR: never met the guy, never took (or asked for) any money from him, never visited the island. I was invited to the island, and said no.
It's not that hard to just say no.

How? How do you double-check the accuracy, if you're not already an expert? Ask a different GenAI? Or do you, you know... Have to go and do the research you would have done anyway, pre-AI? Because I'm buggered if I can think of how you do that in a way where the GenAI saved you time.

Was a little surprised that @seanferrick.bsky.social didn't give biceps-with-cheerios an explicit up.
Interesting that they let cloned eyeballs work. I believe iris patterns aren't genetically determined, so a cloned eyeball doesn't have the same iris as original.
Thanks for explaining dedication!
