I'm not sure if I love everyone enough to completely tank my feed with trilobites for 200+ posts but maybe I can come up with workarounds

Thought I got all the buggers, including those in other parts of the world, but no. Found an additional page of over 200 more Cambrian trilobites that I haven't clicked yet.

That's 200 species I hadn't seen yet.

This is just the Cambrian, btw... trilobites continued through the Permian...

At the end Columbo-muppet says "Now just one more thing" and the camera pans down to Columbo puppeting his own muppet

One thing I would like to do is to get into daily-ish posting of individual critters again, but as a larger project

Had the idea of drawing cartoony reconstructions of all known fossils from Pre-cambrian to today, maybe make a calendar or coloring book project out of it

Spine2D is very good for game character animation. I hear good things about Moho as an overall Animate replacement

Screenshot of a ...bush. Yes. It's a cel-shaded bush made out of ginkgo leaves that happens to have something fluffy (give or take the size of a woolly mammoth) inside. Hmm. No pachyderms here!

Hmm. Has anyone seen the woolly mammoth around lately? All I can find is this weird new bush made out of giant extinct ginkgo leaves in the yard

Considering a ginkgo is a type of tree and not a bush, this is especially weird

Slowly watching my feed change from 100% actual horses to 100% horseshoe CRABS over the course of today has been an emotional journey

Four brightly-colored prehistoric animals rendered with starkly underlit ectoplasmic flesh, arranged floating on a black background. They all have blank white eyes but are smiling to indicate they are friendly. From left to right, top to bottom, they are a blue dunkleosteus, a red tyrannosaurus, a green quetzalcoatlus, and a purple brachiosaurus.

Little spectral baby versions of the four gods in my volcano game. Hatching magic eggs on the board releases one of these to help you (via complete chaos, as a dinosaur hatchling would, but it IS help, nonetheless!)
