Not yet, still gotta iron out some model details first. Soon tho.
Thank you. I use Blender for pretty much everything.
She'll probably sneak in somewhere, yeah.
Doe expressions. I think she's really cute.
The way Arc Raiders tracks a player's willingness to fight and weighs matchmaking based on that is genuinely fascinating. I've seen lobbies full of complete strangers willing to cooperate and split loot and it feels like something unique to the genre

Yep, kept the original for just that purpose.
got some very good feedback on how to make her look more deerlike and in the process they've sorta become an entirely new character.
I'd probably start with his posing here -- start him hunched down, leaning forward, shoulders down with the shield low, and have him bring it up to the ready position in a smooth arc as he stops moving. That should help relive the stiffness a bit. Would love to see your progress on this!
prepping for a "breach"
i was originally gonna scrap this, but i tried to fix and redo it as best i could. It still looks still though, maybe it's the timing?

i should absolutely make a cow.
I've had this doe in my WIPs folder for a while. I've been meaning to lighten her fur so she looks a more like a deer and less like a brown cow, but luckily I painted her via masks, so I only needed to change base colours. It's a common Substance workflow, but I like working in Blender.
Oh man you're in for a treat. It's called Split/Second, it's on Steam for a decent price. It's a bit crashy and around episode 6 it convinced itself that my save was corrupted but then I kept playing and it seemed to fix itself? honestly, still incredibly fun despite that.
Younger members of the audience may not remember, but back in the early 2010s we were eating very well. Lots of big franchises got their hits around this time and even the lesser known titles had unimaginable amounts of sauce.
Sick in bed, watching Monster Hunter Turf War compilations, finding myself really envious of the MH animation team. Creature animation looks like so much fun.
Just playing around with some geometry and texture adjustments. Still yet to settle on a look I'm happy with.
Apparently, Goodbye Volcano High is 50% off on Steam right now. So $14.99 instead of $29.99. If you haven't played this VN game yet, I can't recommend it enough; it's insanely emotional with a great narrative.
9.5/10. I never got to review it properly.

New Diablo 2 expansion released yesterday and i think i'm about to relapse
Just a quick little warm-up sketch with Lilly~
I had a lot of fun with this rig! She immediately reminded me of Janis from Mean Girls, so I just couldn't resist!

ok wow I did NOT realize it was that dark when I posted it. I think i need to calibrate my monitor.
WIP of something a little new. Been wanting to do more animations involving the Director, she's kind of an important figure that I'd like to explore some more.
I added important sound
Some after hours VFX practice. Wish I could do the whole game like this.
As promised: Faces! ๐ Here's a thread about some technical details for how stylized faces get made in Spirit Crossing. ๐งต
The game is inspired by media like Ghibli and BotW, but our faces are unique. There was lots of early discussion about face style & we landed on dot-eyes early...
I've been trying to replicate something like this in Blender for my work on Young Suns, but for whatever reason custom properties don't export from Blender like they do in Maya. I'm so very jealous of this setup.
Fantastic thread, thank you for sharing!
